[Killua blinks and tears his gaze away, giving himself a moment. He then looks to Ritsu with a cat like smile, acting perfectly playful despite the violent aura still rolling off of him.]
Oh, is this the brother you were talking about? He's not really what I expected.
[Ritsu thinks he's scrutinizing more than Shigeo is, but Shigeo's aura is going to tell the tale more - it's massive, and now that he's aware, it's starting to fill the room.]
[His eyes widen, and Killua realizes in an instant that despite Shigeo being the only person in this family to give off a psychic aura, they all knew about it. He wasn't planning on keeping his powers a secret or anything, but he didn't plan on telling Ritsu just yet either.
Well, there's no point in denying it now.
His gaze shifts to Ritsu, anticipating a reaction.]
[Shigeo nods quietly, muttering a soft "I agree" before beginning to eat dinner. "Eat up, you two, dinner's getting cold," their mother huffs at them.
Ritsu starts eating, but it's hard to taste anything. He's pretty excited. Killua's an esper? He's really-- what if-- the thoughts come too quickly to even properly form in Ritsu's mind. What's he eating? Soba? He can't even tell.]
[Both parents smile at that! Even if their boys are kind of a mess, that's just teenagers, right? "Thank you! There's plenty, so eat as much as you like, dear."
Dinner proceeds as usual, Shigeo not saying a word and Ritsu having a quiet meltdown as everyone ate. With the older brother agreeing to help with dishes, Killua and Ritsu are dismissed from the table - though Ritsu turns bright red with his father's warning to leave the door open if they go to his room.]
[The dad just laughs loudly at that, ignoring the two boys heading upstairs. Ritsu nearly closes the door but does abide by his father's rule. He sort of plops himself into his desk chair, the thing squeaking a bit from Ritsu's weight.
[Ritsu tries to keep himself steady, but he really doesn't have any control of where or how he's moving.
That's okay, though - Shigeo would never lift another person, not these days. Ritsu's trying not to act childish but he can't help it, a few giggles find their way out, much to his chagrin.]
[He's older than Killua... Albiet, only by a few days.]
Okay. Check this out. [Killua smirks, and as his hair rises up on his skull, he switches his focus to a chair and raises it into the air.
Also, he drops Ritsu.
As for the chair, it starts to rapidly jerk about in the air, each part that faces Killua coming undone at the seams. By the time he's finished, every single part that was used to make that chair was laid out on the floor, piece by undamaged piece.]

Yeah, no kidding...
no subject
Did you know he was an esper?
[Their mother sighs and slaps her forehead. "Oh I knew I shouldn't have gotten the good spoons out!"]
no subject
Well, there's no point in denying it now.
His gaze shifts to Ritsu, anticipating a reaction.]
no subject
An esper? Really? Well, first and foremost, jealousy practically explodes in him. Jealousy and fear.
But so does admiration, fondness, he's impressed.]
That's amazing.
[He'll settle on that, for now.]
no subject
It's nothing that special. [He finally huffs and looks away, chin in hand.]

He's also got quite the blush at that warning, stammering out.] I-it's not like that!
no subject
He's giddy...]
You really have psychic powers?
no subject
Yeah. You wanna see?
no subject
[He starts looking around for stuff to mess with using psychic powers. He pulls a spoon out of his pencil stand, holding it out.]
no subject
[He makes a face.] Why did you have a spoon in there?
no subject
[Yeah, right.]
no subject
Stand up.
no subject
[Wow Ritsu don't sound so excited about that]

I was gonna show you something cool.

[He's perfectly happy with whatever, also don't make fun of him for enjoying childlike stuff!! He's literally a child!]
