With some supervision! And there's a few things that don't involve brewing with fire. The worst you'll do is make something that'll blow up in my hands.

[She teases, leaning back against him even as she kept shaking the vial - by now, it was starting to lighten again, turning into a deep, bruise-like purple.]

This one is pretty easy and only involves steeping a specific measurement of wigroot in clean water. There's also a drought that's fire-free - and pretty easy, too. Just have to be accurate in your measurements.

[After taking a pause to lift up the vial, Maya smiled - it was becoming clear again, and turning to a vivid blue.]

The plants in this world pull something from deep under the ground. Water, we think... not like the water we drink, but like the water I was drowned in. Something more than water. With the right plants and ingredients, you can do all kinds of unfathomably impressive things. My papa was always able to make sure the soil was rich and the harvest was robust during time of little rain - apothacaries are able to do incredible things. Tinctures and droughts can change the mind and the body alike.
