Hi, Izuku. I'm Shouto. [His first teammate! He has no idea how to actually treat one. He'll figure it out.]

Ready to go in? [His first teammate! ... What's it like to be part of a team? He has no idea, so he's excited.]

[mypower]

Yeah, let's go.

[Let's go find a senior adventurer and earn that adventurer badge!!]

[fullcowl]

[After padding around the base for a little while, they manage to get their badge! And a nice little room for them to stay in, though it definitely seems like shared quarters. Now it's time to look at the request boards.] We should probably start small, right? We can work our way up to the harder stuff. How about this one? [He points at a request for a Oran berry.] There's a bunch of those in the forest.

[mypower]

[An Oran berry delivery? There's nothing wrong with that really, but he'd rather... He pulls down a rescue mission. An easy one, just some young Cleffa that got lost, passing it to Izuku with his mouth.] I think we should do this one.

[fullcowl]

[ He'll take it in his paws. A lost Cleffa? Being lost is pretty scary, even if it's somewhere without much danger...]

Okay we can do this one. It's just in the forest.

It'd be nice to rescue someone too.

[mypower]

Yeah. Kids getting lost is pretty sad. [He might not sound overly empathetic but. His heart's there. He really does want to do the most good.] Are you ready? ...And are you holding the bag? [The straps can be adjusted for a quadruped but. Bipeds do have a small advantage.]

[fullcowl]

[ at least they agree that lost kids are sad, even if Shouto isn't that good at emoting. It's fine.

Izuku's got the bag strapped to his back. It looks like they're both good to go. ]

All we have to do is go there.

[mypower]

There'll probably be Pokémon picking on it, but Grass and Bug types don't bother me. [He can lead the way, since he actually knows where most of the dungeons around here actually are.]

[fullcowl]

You're well equipped for forests, Shouto-kun. [Punching Grass and Bug types seems a little strange, but between the two of them they should be okay. Izuku stays right next to him until they reach the forest entrance.] Here we go.

[mypower]

You only really have to worry about poison from the Oddishes, really. So act quickly. [It's not too far from town - it'd only be a few minutes before the dungeon part of the forest started twisting and changing.] Have you explored a Mystery Dungeon before?

[fullcowl]

Um... Not in person. But I did a lot of reading up on them! I know that they change every time somebody goes into them.

[mypower]

Stay close, then. It might be easy to get lost. The badge will teleport you back if you really need it.

[fullcowl]

I'm not planning on leaving you here alone.

[Though he gets the feeling that Shouto doesn't really need him to be here anyway.]

[mypower]

We'll see how it goes. [He's not using his powerful Flamethrower attack... Ice Beam is fine for Grass types, but Bug types just get hit with Hex or Quick Attack.]

[fullcowl]

[Izuku seems to default to basic attacks for enemies that come close to them. Quick Attack is good for for anything around the forest.

While they're walking through the floor, Izuku seems to pick up a few berries and gummis.]

How's your stomach doing?

[mypower]

[Stomach? Hmm, they have been wandering for a while. He glances around the corners to make sure nothing's looking to ambush them.] I could eat.

[fullcowl]

[He'll pull out the two white gummis they've managed to stumble across, giving one over to Shouto.] It'd be pretty sad if we fainted before we got to rescue somebody.

[mypower]

We'll get there. [He glances into the bag...] Ah, save those Gummis, though. Someone is going to open a shop to make drinks with them, which makes them more effective. [...] And it tastes better.

[fullcowl]

Really? I hadn't heard about that... I guess you've lived here longer than I have.

[mypower]

[He nods!]

They'll flood you with advertisements plenty later.

[fullcowl]

Alright. We'll try not to go through all of these.

How many floors is this forest?

[mypower]

Only about fifteen floors. Here, I'll take that apple. [He'll bite it and pull it out of the bag to eat it. He isn't shy.]

[fullcowl]

[That's one way to get an apple out of a bag. Izuku will switch out his own gummi for another apple.]

That's not too bad. We're on floor seven. We're almost half way to the end.

[It narrows down where Cleffa could be.]

[mypower]

[Cronch cronch...] I doubt she got much deeper. There's a honey tree at the end... that's pretty dangerous, since there's a bunch of beedrill.

[fullcowl]

Have you been in this forest before, Shouto?

[mypower]

Yes, I have. I've used it to train.

[fullcowl]

It's good one of us has been in here before. [Izuku brushes off his paws before looking around for the staircase, now that they're both done eating.]

[mypower]

I haven't explored all of the dungeons, since they're all pretty tough. This area is where real heroes are tested.

[fullcowl]

That's fine. As we get stronger we can go into the harder ones together. We'll become real heroes. [Izuku's tail is wagging quickly.]

[mypower]

[The enthusiasm is a little contagious!] Right. Let's get strong quickly.

[fullcowl]

We will! Now let's go rescue Cleffa! [Down the stairs they go!]

[mypower]

[Down the stairs! ...And one more set of stairs! But once they're on the right level, Shouto sniffs about and slows.] I think it was around here.

[fullcowl]

Okay, now all we have to do is find her.

[It's time to... fully explore a dungeon floor!]

[mypower]

[Shouto keeps sniffing around, trying to pinpoint Cleffa's scent. He rounds several corners, following several tight thicket-like corridors, and in one of those narrow constrained spaces - He puffs up, spewing ice ahead of himself at the bug type that startled him.]

[fullcowl]

[Izuku follows along where Shouto goes not willing to split up by choice. He thinks they're in low level enough area that they don't have to worry about something like Whirlwind.] You're really well suited for this kind of place.
