Coming Home from a Dream

Hell has a habit of sucking in hapless, tortured souls... including those from other worlds, it seems, when helped along by portalling magic concocted by Stolas of the Ars Goetia. Hell, in fact, is very receptive to the devised spell, sucking in those that portal from the land of dreams,

Residents of hell walking through the portal find themselves startled awake where they were, but newcomers? Their forms become physical, tangible, changing them into the creatures they dream themselves to be - for the best and most certainly for the monstrous. It is Hell, after all.
Welcome home, I.M.P. : D.M.C.!

But a thought occurred to her, one that had her pause momentarily.
"Hey... sorry if Blitz gave you guys trouble. Mox n' I woke up and I had this sinkin' feeling in my stomach, knowing how he is when people leave."

Alastor raised his hand and snapped, reveling in the feeling of being able to conjure again after almost two years without it.
A large French press of coffee along with a few cups, sugar, and cream appeared on the meeting table. And, yes, those are some high-quality, fresh-ground beans steeping in that pot.
"Personally, I find making a pot by hand is far superior to conjuring it, but we do what we must!"
He poured himself a cup and helped himself to a seat, one leg crossed over the other.
"I can't say that things were smooth-sailing after you two left, but nothing to concern yourself with, my dear! Water under the bridge!"

"If you say so. Well, considering everybody woke up and we got some lost kids finding homes here, I was gonna agree anyway. Wonder if it was the Prince's magic that gave them their new looks, thinkin' ahead, seein' as I don't think the King would take kindly to some strangers."
She paused.
"...If he notices, anyway."

He flicked a wrist to pour a cup and levitate it over to Millie. He gestured to the additives on the table. "Cream? Sugar?"
He took a sip of his coffee, listening to her comment about the others who'd come from Reverein that didn't belong in this Hell.
"Based on personal experience, I can say with absolute certainty that King Lucifer has noticed the outsiders in his realm. The real question is 'Will he care enough to acknowledge them?'"
Because his and Lucifer's original run-in had been initially quite tense. Understandable given the Fallen Angel had seen a potential usurper to his throne much like he'd tried to do in Heaven.

"If he was smart, he'd acknowledge it. Comin' from nowhere and havin' the abilities from their worlds that they do can be pretty dangerous, if you ask me. Hell's got its problems and it don't need a whole lot to shake it up and make it dangerous for everybody."

"Given his reaction to my arrival, he likely will sit up and take notice once they do something that draws significant amounts of attention to them. I got off with what was more or less a warning last time. I doubt they'd pull anything like what I did!" He laughed at the idea.
