It's like an aura. Ah, Ritsu's is a little like that, but his aura is more sharp and blue... and it usually spills out more when he's flustered.

I can't read people very well... I have a really hard time. I'm so lucky that I have all my friends and family now... life without them is kind of...

While I can't say that you don't give off the impression of being unsure of the mood sometimes, you are capable of feeling emotions, and you clearly care a lot for your friends and family. I think they'd be lucky to have you in their lives, regardless of whether or not you can read a person as well as you seem to think you need to.

When I fought Mogami, I got to experience a life without any of my friends, or family, or my powers... it made me realize how lucky I really am.

I thought, at first, that I wouldn't want to keep working as an exorcist after that. But I'm glad I came here to help. So if Mogami does show up...

[He adds with a bit of haste, trying not to push away Joshua and hurt his feelings. After all, the affectionate touch was pretty intense - even behind his tightly clamped emotional state, he could feel his heart thudding with excitement and fondness and validation.]
