Yeah, you're right.

[He drops the act too fast! He didn't even try.]

Come on, I wanna look around! [Killua hops off of the playground and lands in a crouch before straightening up.] Let's head to the top and work our way down.

The fire escape is collapsed, though. [Though he's hoping Killua plans on floating them up...]

Stupid, I'm an esper, remember?

[That was the plan. Killua doesn't wait for permission before he scoops them both up in a bubble and navigates to the roof.]

[Ritsu manages not to giggle excitedly, but it's clear he adores the sensation. He wobbles and grabs onto Killua's shoulder, even if it wasn't really necessary.]

[He likes showing off, so this is all fine by him. When Ritsu grabs his shoulder, Killua just puffs his chest out to look cooler.]

Pretty cool, huh? This is something I've been working on. If I just floated you like I normally did, you wouldn't have any control.

You just came up with it, huh? I wonder what else you could do. [HMM. It's not like...... he's daydreamed since he was literally a tiny child about what he'd do.....]

Can you see spirits?

Nii-san never experiments, but I'm curious how much you could do with them. Could you try to bind them to somewhere? Control them? Or maybe they use energy somehow and your powers can do the same...

[Killua shrugs.]

I've only ever had to exterminate them, but I don't see why not. Spirits are kind of like playdough.

[Just how old was he?]

[Same age as Ritsu...] I know Nii-san can ward stuff, I made him ward my bedroom. So obviously you could make a lure, right? [Maybe, maybe not...?]

Yeah, but why would you want to lure spirits? They're just nuisances.

[moresuffering]

But if you could bind them to do your bidding...

Why do I need some lowly spirit to do something I can just do better myself?

[moresuffering]

I would use them to spy throughout the city.

So I can finally expose Nii-san's master for taking advantage of my brother. [He's going to walk down!] And to look for other espers. Or interesting places to go. Maybe there's someone I'd put a curse on.

If your brother knows he's being taken advantage of, can't he just quit?

[Killua follows along, letting out a snort at that bit about curses.]

Curses don't really work like that. You don't want to find other espers, either.

[Killua flushes, and even though it really wasn't what he meant, he gets annoyed anyway.]

Oh yeah? Think I'll just go make other friends?
