Oh, not at all! Not only were you both a tremendous help to me today, but I've got a fun date this weekend to anticipate now too~

Mm... well, I need to go home, now. My parents will worry.

[And he has homework to completely fail at doing.

That said, he will keep his promise to show up at the train station on their agreed time! Unfortunately Shigeo isn't a very interesting person to text, even if he is diligent about keeping promises. Reigen gave him a long talk and a lot of warnings, but Shigeo isn't really that worried... he steps off the platform in the city, looking around for Joshua.

Today, he's just wearing his green dog hoodie.]

[When the two consultants leave, the moment before the train completely leaves Shibuya's station, Reigen will suddenly receive a text from "H. S.", that simply says "I'm aware you told Joshua that you weren't going to charge him, but please accept this on our behalf regardless", and checking his bank account will find that a rather generous payment for the ghost-busting you did today has been sent in.

As for Joshua himself, Shigeo will find that by comparison, Joshua does like texting, though his texts don't seem to indicate that he's expecting for Shigeo to reply to them all. If anything, the only ones that have a clear indication of waiting for a response are the ones just asking how the other's day is going and responding accordingly should Shigeo decide to text back, until the day of the date.

When Shigeo first steps off the train, he won't see Joshua at first, no matter how hard he looks. That is, until...]

Ah, there you are. I didn't keep you waiting too long, did I?

[When Mob looks for the source, Joshua is now standing literally right next to him, as if he just materialised there without warning. Joshua is still wearing the same outfit from their first meeting, but given his status here, maybe that's to be expected?]

Ah. [Shigeo looks a little surprised, but doesn't react too much - he's not worried that Joshua will hurt him. He does turn a little pink remembering that he's here because he got asked on a date, though...] No, it's okay.

[Joshua smiles as he turns his attention toward the shopping district outside the station here.]

There's a few places I thought might be worth looking at, but if you see something that's of interest to you, please don't hesitate to show me. Anything that you want to see or do while you're here is fine with me.

[He nods... so he just has to look at stuff that might be interesting? That seems simple enough. He's not exactly sure what else to do on a "date", especially since he's... well. Never really tried to date.] I'll follow you.

Excellent. Let's take this street, then.

[One of the very first things that Shigeo might notice is that, judging from the sheer amount of clothing stores, the city of Shibuya cares a lot about fashion and the latest trends. Even Joshua himself, despite wearing the exact same clothes as before, seems rather interested in some of these outfits. He's holding a red blazer up by himself to compare at one point, before he then he holds it up next to Shigeo to compare.]

Hmm... yes, this color definitely looks better on you than me. What do you think?

[shigeo]

Oh, uhm... I don't know. [He looks between the blazer and down at his own chest, warily.] I don't really know fashion... the red seems really bright, though. [But he doesn't sound like he has any real conviction behind that...]

[Joshua hums a little at that in consideration before he seems to nod in agreement after looking at it a little more, putting it back on the rack and trading it for a black jacket with a dark red trim to compare with instead.]

So what kind of colors do you like then, Shigeo-kun?

[shigeo]

[He seems to waffle on it for a minute... he didn't exactly care about fashion, but...] ...What would... make me look popular...?

[lusito]

... Well, the current trends right now involve colors and threads like these ones, but that's here in Shibuya, so I can't say if the same look would be considered popular in your city. Though, I do think you'd look quite stunning regardless.

[But that might be because he's biased right now.]

[shigeo]

[Well, if it could make him look popular. He pulls off his hoodie, and he's only got a plain white t-shirt underneath - but he reaches for the jacket to try it on, too. It's pretty garish compared to his flat expression and simple bowl haircut. Even if Shigeo's cheeks are a little pink after being flattered and at the idea of being popular.]

[If Josh notices how distracting the hair and expression is, he doesn't show it.]

Yes, perfect. You make this jacket work even better than I imagined.

[He is however going to reach out and help adjust it a little around the collar of the jacket. Hope you don't mind him being that close to you while he prods at you here.]

[His cheeks get redder and redder, but he patiently waits as Joshua fiddles with his collar.] If you think I look cool...

Of course I do. Though to be fair, I already thought you were interesting beforehand.

[Though, debateably, that's not the same thing as thinking someone was already "cool" before too, is it?]

Mm... well... thank you. [He doesn't know what else to say??? And Joshua said he'd buy this for him... it feels like a lot, really. He's afraid to look at the price tag.] Uhm, what next, Joshua?

Well, we could look at a few more stores, get something to eat, walk around the scramble crossing... what sounds appealing to you right now, Shigeo-kun?

[shigeo]

Uhm... what's scramble crossing?

[lusito]

It's a nickname for a popular intersection in Shibuya. You can see most of the stores and restaurants from there, as well as the statue of Hachiko. Sometimes you even get a few Tin Pin players milling around there.

[shigeo]

[Huh... hmm. Shigeo thinks for an uncomfortably long time.]

All of that sounds alright... I don't know what to pick.

[lusito]

Well... why don't we go toward the crossing, then? Maybe you'll see something of interest to you while we walk around there.

[Just as soon as Joshua pays for that jacket of course, and once he does so, he's looping an arm around one of Shigeo's to start leading the way to the scramble crossing.]

[shigeo]

[Oh... h-he's never even held hands with a girl before. Shigeo clams up, turning bright red - Joshua really meant date, date, didn't he? It feels nice. Even if he tenses up in embarrassment, not really knowing what to do.] Sounds fun... [He's trying to sound enthusiastic but not embarrassed, and it's hard to do both.]

[Joshua says a lot of things, but when he says "date", he means it. He'll absolutely walk with Shigeo just like this as they make their way toward the center of the city, not caring at all how it may look or how embarrassed his date might be about it. There's more teenagers milling around (one or two with timers on their hands like the ones Shigeo saw last time he was here...) but otherwise it seems calm today as they walk.

Joshua will point out some landmark features, like the 104 building that towers over the crossing, or the Hachiko statue when they pass by it, among other things if they stick out on their path here.]

So what do you think of Shibuya so far?

[shigeo]

[What's he supposed to say?? He hesitates, feeling a little on the spot and embarrassed.] Um, it's nice, I guess... [That doesn't sound very enthused, does it?] I'm not really thinking about the city, I guess? But I'm having fun with you. I'm sorry if I'm boring...

Oh, perish the thought! I could never think that you were boring, Shigeo.

[For several reasons other than just because we're on a date right now...]

As long as you're having fun, then that's all that matters.
