[Killua meekly makes his way inside, mostly trying to avoid eye contact with Ritsu's mom. Luckily, Ritsu asking a stupid question breaks him right out of his shell.]
[With a small nod, Killua walks over to take a seat at the table. He sets his bag down at his feet, tucking it under the chair, and then waits for Ritsu to finish.
[She focuses on cooking for now, since dinner is when conversation happens - Ritsu finishes up and sits down next to Killua, dragging up an extra chair for Shigeo. Once dinner's done, the pleasant smell of yakisoba filling the kitchen, Ritsu's mom calls for everyone to come get dinner. Ritsu's father joins them at the table, possibly surprising Killua with a clap on the shoulder. "So you're my boy's special person, hmm?"]
[Ritsu tenses a bit worriedly too, but Killua just gets a couple more pats before papa Kageyama sits down. "Well, you're welcome over whenever you like then, kiddo. Makes you part of the family, right?"]
If that's how you want to think about it.
["You relax too, Ritsu, we won't tease him too much."
The table is pretty busy, so it'd be actually quite easy to not notice Shigeo's arrival at all - he's quiet and just sort of sits down, apparently making no motion to acknowledge Killua. ...Though if Killua is paying more attention than Shigeo is, he might notice the aura rolling off of the older brother.]

[He's making the :3 face at him.]

[There's no real vitriol, though.]

Let me try some of that fruit candy you got.

[Killua actually stops to look a little flustered.]
Stupid, you didn't really have to buy me anything...

I'm home! I brought someone.
[His mother calls back from the kitchen, she just needs a minute. Ritsu just kicks off his shoes and tucks them in the corner.]
no subject
Ah... [He pulls his bag off and brings it around to his front.]

[Ritsu's mom peeks around the corner, giving the guest a friendly smile and welcoming him in as well. "Ritsu, who's this?"]
Mom, I followed the string and found my soulmate today.
["Oh, Ritsu!" she cooed excitedly, smile growing more genuine. "Introduce me!"]
Right. He's, uh...
[...]
Hey, what's your name again?
no subject
You forgot already?!
no subject
So what!

[For someone who was bragging about playing the sympathy card earlier, he sure was being polite.]
no subject
Alright.
[Mom's a bit snippy, but just because Ritsu had been rude and forgotten his soul mate's name. He can take it and set the table, he does anyway.]
no subject
...He hopes his Mom doesn't talk to him more.]

Aha... Yeah, looks like it.
