[He throws a second cake into the basket.]

[He quirks an eyebrow at that.] No kidding.

Okay, this basket's getting kind of heavy, let's check out.

[He'll just follow along. So what if Killua is buying like... three cakes. Weird kid. He'll lead the way to his home, too.]

[Excuse you, it was only two cakes.

At least he has a backpack with him, and Killua sure makes a show of trying to stuff everything inside. Once it's zipped and filled to bursting, they're on their way to Ritsu's place.]

Let me try some of that fruit candy you got.

[Killua actually stops to look a little flustered.]

Stupid, you didn't really have to buy me anything...

I shoved them both on the counter when you were buying stuff. You didn't notice?

[Be careful! Ritsu isn't actually an idiot. He stops in front of a humble looking house, opening the front door.] I'm home! I brought someone. [His mother calls back from the kitchen, she just needs a minute. Ritsu just kicks off his shoes and tucks them in the corner.]

[When they get to Ritsu' house, Killua hangs back hesitantly in the doorway as he removes his shoes and places them neatly by the front step.]
